Stanford Athletics Launches Virtual Stadium Seating and Tour

3-D Stadium Map Provides Panoramic Field Views; Serves as Tool For Prospective Ticket Buyers

Stanford, CA – February 1, 2006 – Stanford Athletics today announced the availability of its interactive, virtual 3-D stadium tour on www.stanfordstadium.com. The virtual stadium is a unique marketing tool that provides panoramic views of the new Stanford Stadium, and is intended as a general guide for prospective season ticket buyers in seat selection.

The virtual stadium was created by using architectural plans and renderings of the new Stanford Stadium, presenting close to accurate depictions of sightline views.

While the stadium is under construction, Stanford Athletics’ goal is to provide its fans the opportunity to virtually test out their prospective seats and field view in order to help secure the right seats for all.  Prospective season ticket holders can scroll over the entire stadium map and choose a specific section of seats to view, including handicap areas, Family Plan, Alumni, Faculty/Staff and premium section seating. Additionally, artist renderings of Press Box seating and hospitality areas are also available for viewing.
